With over two decades immersed in the world of gymnastics and acro, Sierra brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as an acro dance teacher. Sierra's journey began over twenty years ago competing in USAG gymnastics, which laid the foundation for a ten-year coaching career in competitive gymnastics. During this time, Sierra hones her skills not only as a coach but also as a flexibility and strength instructor, helping athletes achieve their personal bests.
For the past five years, Sierra has taught as an acro teacher at CSDA, where she has been able to nurture young talent and witness their growth firsthand. Beyond the studio, she is a dedicated doula and homeschooling parent to three amazing children, one of whom she has had the privilege to coach in dance and acro since she was just two years old.
Sierra's teaching philosophy revolves around meeting each child where they are, fostering their flexibility and strength, and empowering them to conquer acro skills they once believed were our of reach. Sierra believes every child possesses the potential to achieve their goals with the right mindset and work ethic. Her goal is to inspire and guide young dancers to discover their own capabilities, helping them realize that with determination and perseverance, they can achieve those seemingly out of reach skills!
